    Fujifilm Releases the X-M1 Mirrorless DSLR and XC 16-50mm OIS lens

    Combining the power of a DSLR with a compact lightweight body, the Fujifilm X-M1 mirrorless DSLR camera has just been announced along with the XC 16-50mm OIS lens. Driven by a large 16MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS and EXR Processor II featured in the higher-end X-Pro1, the X-M1 brings a number of new innovations with it. Thanks to twin electronic control dials and smaller body, the DSLR can be used one-handed with relative ease along with WiFi wireless image transfer to your computer or mobile devices. Other notable features include:

    • 3.0-inch 920K-dot Tilt LCD screen
    • versatile interchangeable lenses (including the XC 16-50mm OIS lens)
    • Start-up time of 0.5secs, shutter lag of 0.05secs and a maximum burst speed of 5.6fps (max. 30 frames)
    • 49 point AF
    • 8 Advanced Filters plus 5 Film Simulation modes
    • ISO200-6400 in 1/3 step increments (and extended range of ISO 12800 to 24600 at reduced resolution)
