If you just updated your WhatsApp, you will see that there is a new Events function in the description. As the description says, simply tap the "+" button in any group chat and then choose "Event".

At the beginning of the month, it was reported that Twitter had rolled out a feature called Twitter Circle for a small number of users for testing. If you're not sure what it is for, it's basically something similar to Close Friends on Instagram by letting you post tweets to a small group of people rather than everyone. Until now, the company is giving it a wide rollout, so you might get to see the feature on the app sooner or later.

Leaving group chat on WhatsApp might not be that embarrassing anymore. The latest report claims that the messaging platform will soon roll out a feature that lets users quit the groups 'silently', which is perfect for most of us who don't want to make a big deal out of it.

WhatsApp is going to bring some new features to iOS users. The new features include the app will let you know when someone mentions you in a group chat and a profile photo will appear on the lock screen.

Based on a statement by androidheadlines, it seems that Telegram could be introducing a launching a new feature which allows users to have group video calls with other Telegram users. While not much is known in regards to the exact release date of the aforementioned feature, we do know that it will most likely be more secured compared to their competitors.

Update - We just got a new update the new WhatsApp video call upgrade will be increased to 8 participators. Currently in beta mode, only testers can try it out on both iOS and Android. It will take some time for the official update to roll out globally. 

Based on a statement by wabetainfo.com, it seems that WhatsApp could with a feature which allows more than 4 participants in a single video or audio call at the same time. This is particularly useful especially during the COVID-19 outbreak, as many of us are stuck at home in order to reduce the chance of getting infected.

Earlier today, Astro unveiled the Astro Ultra Box which comes with features such as 4K UHD playback, Cloud Recording as well as a new user interface. Based on a statement by CEO Henry Tan, over half a million homes in Malaysia are equipped with a 4K TV and 70% of them are Astro subscribers.
