In 2018, Google Tasks was launched as an application for creating task lists. It's another confusing Google app because the same features can be done on Keep and Calendar. This makes Google slowly integrate Tasks directly into Calendar and soon, full integration will be introduced. So, what should you know about it?

It looks like Google is cleaning out the house this month as after announcing that it’s ending support for Google Chrome to devices running Android 7 and below, it’s doing the same for Google Calendar. This is likely due to security issues involving old versions of Android that would affect users of the 2 apps.

Before launching Android 12, Google is already rolling out part of the update to the users. The Material You, a more aesthetic-looking design language from the upcoming operating system update, will now be available on some Google apps, including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.

After years of seeing the envelope icon, Google has announced that a newly designed logo will be replacing the old one for Gmail. The Gmail logo is now more well-matched to other Google services by having the core Google colours which are blue, yellow, and green. Not only the logo change, but the tech giant has revamped G Suite as well to take a chance against Microsoft Office.

When you're out and about, it's always great to have your list of tasks on hand for quick reference. Some people don't bother with it, but it's nice to have an app to track your todo list with a calendar. For Android and iOS users, you can now do that from within Google Calendar.
