It's a big day for Google as the company unveils its Pixel smartphone. The phones drop its existing Nexus branding in favor of "Pixel", a nod to Google's existing tablet and Chromebook line. Both run on Android 7.1 Nougat, Google's most recent mobile operating system.

With the Google Pixel and Pixel XL phones officially announced already, we couldn't help but make some quick comparisons with the phones using our tech spec comparison tool. You can see some of our comparisons in the links below but clearly the Pixel and Pixel XL bring Electronic Image Stabilization and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor to the table, features which can be seen in both the Huawei Nexus 6P and ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe.

In a move largely expected by mostly everybody, Google have announced their Pixel phones by Google, consisting of the 5-inch FHD display Google Pixel and 5.5-inch 2K display Google Pixel XL. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet, but the Pixel will be priced from $649 (RM2697) with pre-orders starting from 4 October 2016 and a release date on 20 October 2016. They will be powered by Google Assistant.

October 4th is just around the corner, and we can expect something big from Google on that day, as part of their big event.. One of it is their first, inhouse developed smartphone called the Pixel, and its bigger brother the Pixel XL. We now have photos of what the phone will look like on launch day.

Google have officially announced that a new device will be coming on 4 October 2016 with a teaser video and registration of interest page. We assume that it will be to announce their new Google Pixel devices. Previously codenamed 'Sailfish', rumours have it that they will replace or complement the current Nexus line-up of Google devices.
