By now, you probably have noticed some new Google-related app icons on your iOS and Android devices. The company has officially introduced a fresh visual identity for its Workspace app icons, bringing a major redesign to apps including Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Meet, Calendar and more. The update is now rolling out gradually across Android, iOS and web platforms.  

Google has recently revealed the Google Pics for Google Workspace landing page just a few hours ago. From the description of the features, it seems that it will be a new AI image generation and editing app built into Google Workspace like Slides. 

Google has announced the integration of its generative AI (gen AI) Gemini tools into Google Workspace Business and Enterprise plans. These capabilities are included without additional add-ons, aiming to make AI accessible for businesses of all sizes. The updated pricing begins at RM58.40 per user per month, effective immediately for new customers. Existing customers will see changes on 17 March 2025, or at their plan renewal.

These days, we are getting more AI functions that are capable of writing the type of texts we want and it can even generate videos and photos. Now get ready for the next one called Google Vids which is an upcoming AI-powered video creation tool. 

Google has recently announced an update to the sharing feature on Google Drive which is aimed to make sharing across Google Workspace more secure. Revealed in an official blog post, users can now set expiring access when sharing files in My Drive.

Google Workspace is a place that quickly gathers a variety of information in one place and can be able to share it with a small group or entire organization. The features include calendars, presentations, attachments, text, and video. Now, the latest update of Google Workspace is the company implement the call feature to Gmail app.

After years of seeing the envelope icon, Google has announced that a newly designed logo will be replacing the old one for Gmail. The Gmail logo is now more well-matched to other Google services by having the core Google colours which are blue, yellow, and green. Not only the logo change, but the tech giant has revamped G Suite as well to take a chance against Microsoft Office.
