E-Wallets offered by Touch ‘n Go, Grab, as well as Boost started giving out the RM30 E-Tunai Rakyat from today onwards until 14 March 2020. Malaysians who earn below RM100000 a year and are above 18 years old, will be able to claim the RM30 from one of the platforms mentioned.

It seems that Grab has started testing the new GrabBike transportation service around the KLCC area with price starting from as low as RM3.70. In addition to that, there is also the GrabBike for female passengers where they will ride only with a female rider.

Based on an announcement made by the Finance Ministry, Malaysians who are eligible could receive RM30 on either Touch ‘N Go eWallet, Grab, or Boost. To into more detail, Malaysian citizens who are 18 years old and above and earn less than RM100000 will be eligible to receive the cash gift gift.

Ever since the government has agreed to allow intermediary businesses to provide motorcycle excursion services, the 'Proof of Concept' (POC) in Kuala Lumpur will begin in January 2020 for six months mentioned by the Minister of Transport. Malaysia’s transport minister has given the go-ahead allowing Motorcycle e-hailing services such as Gojek as well as local startup Dego Ride, to start a small scale test in the year 2020. The six-month-long test will allow the government, as well as partnering entities to collect data to determine the feasibility and demand for the services mentioned.
