After Huawei sold off HONOR, the public has started to question whether HONOR will regain access to Google Mobile Services (GMS). Now, it looks like that the answer has been revealed with a reputable Russian newspaper reported that the smartphone company is working on a new line that runs the GMS.

Based on a statement by gizmochina, it seems that HONOR’s CEO recently posted a statement on his weibo account, stating that they will be launching a new flagship smartphone possibly in Q1 2021. Now that Honor is independent of Huawei, it's not surprising that its product direction may change. But at the Honor 7th Anniversary Fan Roundtable, Honor revealed that it aims to launch pretty more of the same type of products it always has.

Based on a report spotted on xueqiu.com, it seems that HONOR is currently in the talks with Qualcomm to have their premium smartphones outfitted with the Snapdragon 888 chipset. While not much is known in regards to which smartphone will be getting the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, it does give us an idea on what to expect from HONOR in the year 2021.

The news of HUAWEI selling HONOR might have been one of the biggest news in the tech industry this year.
