Serial leaker @evleaks is at it again, this time with some clear leaks of what appear to be a new HP tablet. No name for the device yet but it appears to be a 7-inch screen at least, with some very thick bezels. This is rather different from current tablet trends where bezels are as thin as possible but the leaked HP tablet does look good. From the screenshot on the front, it also looks like it may be running original Android as well. No news on Malaysia pricing or release dates just yet, but HP have yet to make any official announcements just yet, so stay tuned if you're interested.

HP's Slate Android tablets were just recently announced and include the HP Slate7 Plus, HP Slate7 Extreme and HP Slate8 Pro along with pricing for each tablet. The HP Slate7 Plus is priced at $149.99 (RM484) while the HP Slate7 Extreme goes for $199.99 (RM644). The 8-inch display HP Slate8 Pro on the other hand is going for $329.99 (RM1062). Tech specs for the 3 HP Slate tablets are quite impressive and include:

So far, most Android devices have generally been of the more mobile and lightweight type. Although there have been larger 'tablets' like the Asus Transformer AIO, it is rarely used for such devices. However, a new 21.5-inch HP Slate 21 tablet will be using Android 4.2.2, which according to rumours it will be using exclusively with no Windows 8 or RT to back it up (or weigh it down).
