    Huawei Mobile Services to offer 300 free passes for mobile game devs at Tokyo Game Show 2019

    Huawei Mobile Services or HMS, home of Huawei’s AppGallery, will be participating at the Tokyo Game Show 2019 (TGS 2019) from 12 September 2019 to 15 September 2019 at booth 7-C03, Hall 7. As such, they are offering 300 free passes for mobile game developers to better collaborate and optimise their games for Huawei Mobile devices which can be redeemed here (be warned, it’s in Japanese).

    As the trade war goes on, Google services will soon be put on halt on 19 August 2019 officially but today, Huawei has made an interesting move. According to XDA Developers, the company has sent out invitations to developers to publish their apps on the Huawei AppGallery app store.

    Today, Huawei Malaysia has announced that its very own official Android app, Huawei AppGallery can now accept bill payments from DiGiHotlinkMaxis, and U Mobile. This new partnership between the companies offers subscribers of the respective telcos the ability to purchase digital content conveniently for things such as buying in-game items and others via the Huawei AppGallery.

    Aside from being able to purchase a wide range of in-app products from various games, customers can also purchase customized themes which can then be paid through their monthly phone bills online. According to the information from the company, it seems that only postpaid users of DiGi, Maxis and U Mobile can perform this, while only Hotlink prepaid users can pay using prepaid credit from topups.
