Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin yesterday announced that the government will provide free WiFi for visitors and patients at all government hospitals in Malaysia. Moreover, Khairy said that the initiative will be implemented at Hospital Rembau in Negeri Sembilan first before being expanded to other public hospitals nationwide.

Since 1 May 2022, checking in into a premise via MySejahtera was no longer mandatory but apparently, many people didn't get the memo. According to the Health Ministry's Github portal, at least a total of 4.5 million Malaysians were still checking in on Labour Day.

Ever since the beginning of the movement control order (MCO), Malaysians have been traveled back to their hometown to be with their families. Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced for those who are still at their hometowns that want to travel back to urban areas can start registering online and wait for approvals.

The extended Movement Control Orders (MCO) have been going on for 17 days and it will be ending on 14 April which is two more weeks from now. The government will decide if Malaysia’s conditions are safe to end it or continue further on the extension on 10 April.
