News & Reviews:   Huawei Nova 3i Malaysia launch

While GPU Turbo has arrived for the Honor Play, a new schedule has appeared indicating that the Huawei P20, Huawei P20 Pro, Huawei Mate 10, Huawei Mate 10 Pro, Huawei Nova 3 and Huawei Nova 3i could be getting their GPU Turbo updates in August 2018. In addition, the schedule also indicates that GPU Turbo will also support both PUBG Mobile and Mobile Legends for more stable and smoother graphics performance.

Huawei has announced that the GPU Turbo Technology is now available on the Huawei Nova 3i starting today. The GPU Turbo Technology increases performance during mobile gaming such as PUBG Mobile, Asphalt 9 as well as as Rules Of Survival giving the user a much more immersive and smooth experience as they are consuming the gaming content mentioned.

After the recent arrival of both the Huawei nova 3 and nova 3i, Huawei Malaysia will also start off their nationwide tour with the Huawei Nova Superstar Truck starting from 10 August 2018 till 30 September 2018. Going to points of interest across Peninsular Malaysia, the roadshow will invite the public to “Capture the Beauty of Malaysia” with the nova 3 and nova 3i via fun-filled activities. These include experiential zones including a Selfie Corner, Karaoke Challenge and Arcade Claw Machine with Era FM radio announcers hosting the roadshows from 4pm to 6pm every Saturday.

By now, most of you should be aware that the Huawei Nova 3i is already out in Malaysia for RM1249 across the nation. We also mentioned that major telcos will have some plans for the device and we finally have the information you need to know, particularly from Celcom, Digi and Maxis.

Launched previously in July 2018, the quad-AI camera packing Huawei Nova 3i retails at RM1249 at all Huawei Experience stores, display zones, authorized dealers and major telcos along with a free Huawei Bluetooth earpiece. On top of that Huawei have also announced a whole bunch of co-branding offers and freebies worth up to RM1000 while stocks last.

In conjunction with the launch of the Huawei Nova 3 and Nova 3i, Huawei is running a contest for consumers to win exclusive VIP tickets to the Huawei Nova Superstar Night live at KLFW 2018 on 9 August 2018 in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur from 7PM to 9PM. In order to take part in the contest, the contestants have to like HUAWEI Mobile Facebook Page, like the contest post and share it on your Facebook account to be picked as one of the 10 winners for a pair of tickets. Based on reports from IDC, SA, Canalys and Counterpoint, Huawei has toppled Apple as the second ranked global smartphone brand for Q2 of 2018. The IDC report in particular shows a 40.9% growth year-over-year for this Q2 of 2018 from Q2 of 2017 for a market share of 15.8% up from 11% and total shipment of 54 million smartphones.

Huawei has announced that they have sold up to 1000 units of the Huawei Nova 3i on day one of sales during their consumer roadshow at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya. There were more than 1000 customers who lined up as early as 8AM in the morning to get their hands on the device which is priced at RM1249 and it comes equipped with the world’s first AI powered Quad camera system.

Now you have even more reason to get the Huawei Nova 3i 128GB variant for RM1249 on Huawei’s official web store. Huawei will include a free Huawei Bluetooth Earphone which is worth RM198 as well as various other exclusive gifts and rewards for every Nova 3i purchases and the sale will start at 12AM sharp on 28 July 2018.

Due to the official announcement of the Huawei Nova 3 and Nova 3i, Huawei Malaysia is introducing a lineup of partner brands that will be participating in the reward system through the Huawei AppGallery app. All in all, there will be rewards worth up to RM1000 for new Nova customers upon each purchase of either one of the Nova duos.
