Earlier today, DxOMark has officially determined that the Huawei P40 Pro smartphone is ranked number 1 in both the camera and selfie category, scoring 128 and 103 points respectively as of now. They have mentioned that usually when a new smartphone comes out, it usually leads by a few points.

Huawei has officially launched the Huawei P40 series, which consists of the Huawei P40, P40 Pro and also the P40 Pro Plus. All 3 models are equipped with the latest Kirin 990 5G chipset and Ultra-Vision Leica camera setup on the rear. Since we are having the Huawei P40 Pro, let's take a look on the camera setup of the smartphone.

Day by day, it seems there isn't a break from the Huawei P40 series rumours. With just a day left until the live stream event, someone managed to get their hands on the full tech specs details and posted them online. Without further ado, let's check what the new Huawei flagships have in store for us.

We are just two days away from the unveiling of the Huawei P40 series smartphones. Traditionally, Huawei Malaysia would always have the devices ready after the global launch and that seems to be the case for us in Malaysia. According to our new favourite SIRIM spotter, @KevinNgTK, the Huawei P40 5G just got certified recently.

For this week's upcoming tech highlight, it will be Huawei's turn to showcase the new P40 series smartphones. As some of you may already know, the company is hosting a live stream event on 26 March 2020 (Thursday) at 9PM (GMT+8) on their official Facebook page and YouTube channel.

The leaks and rumours continue to appear in the run-up to MWC 2020 and one that was just revealed was for Huawei. An image of a smartphone that was claimed to be the P40 Pro recently appeared on Weibo and it shows someone holding the device, with the screen turned on.

It seems that a few pictures of what could be the Huawei P40 Pro have been spotted on weibo.com, which gives us a better idea of how the final product could look like. Unfortunately, the rear of the smartphone seems to be covered by a case which makes it hard to determine exactly how many image sensors it comes with.

The leaks just keep on coming and this time we have another one for Huawei. Renders of the P40 series surfaced on the internet yesterday, along with some mentions of what it could pack for photography. Now, we have speculation of what the rear camera setup for the two devices could be.

Other than those new devices from the Samsung Galaxy S20 series, Huawei P40 series is also a highly anticipated smartphone series that we can’t wait to see in 2020. Earlier, the render of the P40 has surfaced on the internet, it revealed pill-shaped cutout for front cameras and a camera block at the back of the device. Now, different colours of the devices have been spotted in a new leak as well.

Last week, renders were spotted from Onleaks which gave us a clear picture of the design of the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro. Today, a render shows the P40 Pro design that is housing a Penta camera setup on the rear which has a similar design like the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S20 series.
