After weeks of anticipation for the Huawei P9 Plus, Huawei Malaysia has finally confirmed the P9 Plus price - the recommended retail price is RM2599 and it will be available via VMall (www.vmall.my), exclusive online partner Lazada (www.lazada.com.my) and Huawei authorised retailers on 10 June 2016. It's been a month now since the Huawei P9 and P9 Plus was unveiled to the world, the latest Huawei flagships are the results of the first collaboration between Huawei and the global iconic camera brand Leica back in February. Not only that, the P9 lite also made an appearance in Bali, Indonesia, however it lacks the dual rear Leica camera and is set as an affordable option for the series. Huawei recently revealed the Huawei P9 and P9 Plus with their dual 12MP camera setup, featuring Leica-certified optics. However, Leica has always been better known as a high-end digital camera and interchangeable lens manufacturer, with next to no participation in phone cameras. So who actually made the dual camera system on the P9 and P9 Plus?

The introduction of the new Huawei P9 has taken the internet by storm, most notably the two rear Leica cameras with 12MP and f/2.2 aperture for each, it's designed to take colour images and the latter for monochrome photography. But how does it exactly work on the inside? This time, not by iFixit but IT168, a China-tech base site has shared their findings by tearing down the P9.

Huawei has finally unveiled the long rumoured Huawei P9 today at London, and it's not just that model alone but a P9 Plus as well which was previously rumoured to be the P9 Max. It's also confirmed that both devices have built-in Leica camera in them, this changes smartphone photography on a new level and could potentially challenge Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge's dual pixel camera technology. The P9 is priced at £449 (around RM2482) while the P9 Plus is £549 (around RM3035) and will be available on 16 April for 29 countries in Europe and the Middle East (first wave).
