Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo has revealed that his Ministry and the Human Resources Ministry (KESUMA) are studying the impact of technology on jobs and to identify the jobs of the near future in Malaysia. Accordingly, the recently launched National ArtificiaI Intelligence Office (NAIO) will play a role in this and provide recommendations to ensure Malaysians remain in the workforce.

With the recent advancement in Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology such as ChatGPT, many are looking over their shoulders in fear of being made obsolete at their workplace. Well, the Ministry of Human Resources has allayed such fears, claiming that AI won’t reduce job opportunities.
