Xiaomi has clarified rumours that it’s planning to add a single toggle to disable bloatware on its devices, saying that this is just not true. However, the company did reveal that it is planning to cut down on ads on its devices.

Smartphone brand company Xiaomi is said to offer an ad-free experience to all its users. Therefore, according to some recent reports claiming that Xiaomi is currently testing a feature that allows users to turn off ads in the entire system on the device with just one setting button.

If you are a Xiaomi user, you will be disappointed to know that the company has removed a convenient feature on its Xiaomi phones. The feature initially allows YouTube videos to be played with the screen off and Google may have something to do with this.

Xiaomi released HyperOS alongside the Xiaomi 14 series last month, the new software that would be running across its products, including subsidiaries such as Redmi and POCO. Now, the company has announced the 2nd batch of devices that will be receiving the software, specifically the developer version of it next month.
