Today, Samsung has announced an expansion of its SmartThings ecosystem, bringing deeper integration with IKEA smart home devices powered by the Matter standard. The move is aimed at simplifying smart home setups while making connected devices more accessible and affordable.

Called IKEA Kreativ, the app is now further utilising Augmented Reality (AR) by creating a complete 3D replica of your rooms, enabling you to ‘erase’ your furnitures and replace them with with any of IKEA’s offerings that you fancy.

By now, some of you may have heard about IKEA's new collaboration with ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG). In conjunction with the launching this month, ROG will also kick off its 11.11 Gila Sales with exclusive deals of up to 53% on PC components and accessories.

Other than a powerful gaming PC, other things like gaming accessories and a comfortable gaming chair can also enhance your gaming experience. ASUS ROG knows that and that's why it is working with IKEA again to release a series of gaming furniture.

It seems that IKEA has recently announced that they will be collaborating with ASUS Republic of Gamer division in order to manufacture gaming furnitures as well as accessories that are affordable. While not much is known in regards to what kind of products they are planning to release, they did mention that there will be around 30 products that they plan on releasing in the future.

Xiaomi and IKEA officially announced their strategic partnership recently at the annual MIDC conference. This means that IKEA's full range of smart lighting products will be connected to Xiaomi's IoT (Internet of Things) platform starting from December 2018 in China. No news when these will be available in Malaysia or for how much.

IKEA has announced the launch of their online store allowing customers to easily purchase IKEA’s line of home furnishing products with more than 9000 products to choose from the comfort of their own home. Based on the statement made by the Deputy Retail Director Gerard Jansen, IKEA plans to expand to the point where the system is allowed to meet the preference of online shoppers while creating a better life the citizens of Malaysia.
