Rather than phone calls, most people keep in touch through messaging apps these days. So it's always nice to see new features being added to these apps. Facebook is aware of that, as it has added some new chat features and other features to Messenger and Instagram.

If you use Instagram a lot, you might be interested in the app's latest feature. Instagram has added a new function to stickers for Instagram Stories. It allows the app to automatically generate captions based on what the user says.

It seems that the craze of getting exclusive invites from Clubhouse is over, but that hasn't stopped some tech companies from making their own version. Facebook is currently experimenting with one on Messenger Rooms, as well as testing on Instagram with Instagram Live.

Instagram has officially announced on their Twitter account that the Remix feature for Instagram Reels will now be rolled out to the masses starting from today onwards. For those who are not familiar with the Remix feature, it essentially allows users to take existing reels and add their own twist to them such as adding a reaction or a response.

Today, Malaysians everywhere can now enjoy using Reels on their Instagram accounts. Reels is a new function that lets users create and edit short clips with actual audio and music, this includes a catalogue of international and local songs in any clips they create and share. 

An Instagram for kids? Yup, at least that's the idea for now according to Instagram Vice President, Vishal Shah. The company is planning to develop an app version for those who are under the age of 13 and it's now on the priority list. In case you didn't know, the current app version doesn't allow children under the age of 13 to use it.

Based on a tweet by Twitter user @MattNavarra, it seems that Instagram plans on rolling out a feature that allow users to insert automated captions on their Insta-stories. In order to enable it, simply take an Insta-story, then apply the new sticker called CC caption which will automatically transcribe the audio and display it onto your story.

When an idea is popular, everyone wants to copy it. For social media platforms, that happened with the Stories format and it's happening again. Specifically, we're talking about audio rooms as Instagram has become the next platform to copy it.

It seems every other social media platform wants to be a streaming platform these days. Instagram started allowing users to broadcast live back in 2016, but the company has just expanded on that feature. That's right, you can now go live with multiple users!
