  • A Bursa Malaysia filing by Datasonic Group Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary Datasonic Technologies Sdn Bhd (DTSB) revealed that it has been given a contract extension for the supply of passport chips to the Immigration Department by the Home Ministry. DTSB has been given a 12-month extension from 1 December 2024 to 30 November 2025, with an additional contract value of RM104.78 million.

    As previously announced, the Malaysian government has begun a QR Code trial period at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 and KLIA Terminal 2. However, it seems that we will need to download a new app for that purpose
