Police officers in Malaysia will gradually wear body cameras starting October 2024

The Home Ministry has revealed that it has procured a total of 7,648 body worn cameras (BWCs) for the Royal Malaysia Police’s (PDRM) use. Accordingly, Bukit Aman Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department (JPJKK) director Datuk Wan Hassan Wan Ahmad has revealed further details on the BWCs’ usage, which you can read on to find out more.
