    LG Electronics recently announced three new additions to it's current LG G Pad 8.3 tablet. These include the LG G Pad 7.0, G Pad 8.0 and G Pad 10.1. These tablets will offer 7-inch, 8-inch and 10.1-inch screen size options for various users. So far, there aren't any detailed tech specs but in terms of features these new G Pad tablets will offer UX features like QPair 2.0 and Knock Code along with some multimedia features as well. The new G Pad tablets are set for unveiling during the MedPI 2014 expo from 13 May 2014 to 16 May 2014. No news on Malaysia pricing or release dates yet so stay tuned for more updates.

    LG G Pad 8.3 and Sony Xperia Z Ultra Google Play Editions announced

    While the Google Nexus range of devices often gives a more pure Android experience, there other Google Play Edition devices that offer a similar experience as well. Joining the ranks of the Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One is the LG G Pad 8.3 and the Sony Xperia Z Ultra. The first phablet and tablet to join the Google Play Edition ranks, the two devices will run Android 4.4 Kit Kat and get faster Android updates than other non-Google Play Edition devices. Tech specs for the LG G Pad 8.3 include an 8.3-inch Full HD display, 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. The Sony Xperia Z Ultra on the other hand offers a 6.44-inch full HD display, 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM and standard Xperia Z water and dust resistance. The LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition is only WiFi capable but the Sony Xperia Z Ultra Google Play Edition is equipped with 4G LTE. Check out the video in this article.

    LG G Pad 8.3 officially announced 

    The LG G Pad 8.3 has been officially announced, confirming many of the tech specs rumoured to come out with it. This includes the 8.3-inch display with 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution. According to LG this would make it the first 8-inch tablet with Full HD 1080p but we're expecting more such tablets to make an appearance soon. Other tech specs and features for the LG G Pad 8.3 include a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of LPDDR2 RAM, 16GB storage, 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera and 4600 mAh battery. The tablet will run on Android 4.2.2. At 216.8 x 126.5 x 8.3mm the LG G Pad 8.3 is bigger than most 7-inch tablets but may only just offer WiFi support for now, or at least until a cellular version comes out. No exact Malaysia release dates but the LG G Pad 8.3 will be made available to North America, Europe and Asia from Q4 of 2013. Prices will probably be released when the tablet gets launched.

    Rumours: LG G Pad 8.3 render and video appear, looks like LG G2

    The upcoming and rumoured LG G Pad 8.3 has just leaked in a press render and in a teaser video. While the teaser video didn't really show all that much about how the tablet would look like the press render reveals that it looks strikingly similar to the LG G2. Placed side by side with the soon to be released smartphone, the LG G Pad shows nearly the same super thin bezels and all the curves in the same places. Reports from Korea confirm that the tablet will offer an 8.3-inch screen that features 11920 x 1200 pixel resolutions. While it is expected to make an appearance at the IFA 2013 in September, no details on a release date in Malaysia or pricing just yet.
