While LG as a brand is not as prevalent in Malaysia when compared to the other brands, they have been coming out with pretty nice phones that unfortunately have been out of reach from the Malaysian consumer hands. Now however a new report from our friends at Lowyat may hint that LG will be bringing their flagship, the LG V20, here.

Today, LG Electronics (LG) unveiled the LG V20, the latest in its V series of smartphones boasting new features including Steady Record 2.0, Hi-Fi Quad DAC, HD Audio Recorder and front and rear wide-angle lens cameras to deliver best-in-class performance. It is also the world’s first smartphone to come preloaded with Android 7.0 Nougat OS and the new Google In Apps phone search function. Below is the official specifications:

The LG G5 was the company’s first foray into the modular smartphone market – and it did not really catch on like fire among enthusiasts and consumers. The upcoming LG V20 is reported not to have a modular system – rather it will have a removable back that allows access to the battery.

While we wait in anticipation for the LG V20, LG has begun teasing us about the device by first announcing it will come with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, and now with a teaser video of what the new OS is capable of.

Google themselves has hinted about the LG V20 and it being the first phone running Nougat before anyone else. Now we have leaked photos on how the phone will look like once it is launched officially.

Back in August, LG announced the LG V20 will be the first smartphone to run on Android 7.0 Nougat. Right now, Google has once again confirm the news, on its official page with the image shown above.

The successor to LG’s V10 is expected to arrive soon to markets around the world by September, and it will be the first OEM device to run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Now, we have an idea on how the LG V20 will look like on launch day.
