When it comes to new trends, handheld gaming PCs could become more common in 2025. We've seen a few models in recent years, with Lenovo one of the first to join this particular bandwagon. At CES 2025, the company announced a few new models to its Legion Go series.

Two days ago, it seemed that Lenovo could develop a smaller Lenovo Legion Go variant. The information was found on the Legion Go's product page, whereby the smaller variant would come in 7 inches. However, Lenovo has clarified and debunked the rumours.

The PC gaming handheld trend is really picking up. Lenovo has already launched its new Legion Go here in Malaysia. But how does it fare against the ROG Ally and MSI Claw A1M? Well, we don't have the latter in our hands yet. But after playing with the Legion Go (and the Legion Glasses) for two weeks, here's my take on all the pros and cons.

Back at the end of October, we reported that Lenovo Malaysia may have accidentally unveiled the local price of the Lenovo Legion Go. While we were hopeful that it would start at RM3099, the company just officially announced the real price which is RM3999. 

Back in September, Lenovo unveiled its latest handheld gaming console called the Legion Go but at that time, Malaysia wasn't part of the first wave. However, the Lenovo Legion Go actually appeared online on Lenovo Malaysia's official website here revealing its full price.

As previously reported, Lenovo did indeed unveil its latest Windows handheld gaming device. It's officially dubbed as the Lenovo Legion Go and the starting price is at €799 (~RM4019).

Recently, news of a Lenovo handheld gaming device started surfacing. Dubbed the Lenovo Legion Go, it was believed the handheld would use a less powerful chip (compared to the ASUS ROG Ally) to reduce power consumption. But new leaks suggest this might not be the case.

With the Steam Deck, Nintendo Switch, smaller players like Ayaneo, and the most recent ASUS ROG Ally, it seems that Lenovo is also interested in entering the handheld PC gaming market. According to sources, Lenovo's own version could be called Legion Go and here's what we know so far about it.
