    The Lenovo Vibe X2 is currently one of the few smartphones in the world to offer a unique multi-layered design and we go hands-on with it in the video below. Retailing at RM1199 it is currently available from third-party sellers like SatuGadgetDotCom and DirectD for as low as RM959. Tech specs are quite high-end for that price with an octa-core MediaTek processor, 4G LTE, 2GB RAM and WiFi 802.11 ac.     Lenovo unveils the Vibe X2 Pro flagship and a selfie flash accessory at CES 2015

    Lenovo announced a number of new devices at CES 2015 including the Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro flagship and a flash accessory called as the Lenovo Vibe Xtension Selfie Flash. The top-of-the-line Vibe X2 Pro takes its design inspiration from it's predecessor, the Lenovo Vibe X2. It comes with a full metal body and a three color layered design. The phone runs on a 64-bit Snapdragon processor and supports 4G LTE networks. It features a 13MP front camera which puts it in direct competition with the recently announced HTC Desire Eye. The company has not included a front facing flash but interested users can purchase the Xtension Selfie accessory. It attaches itself to the phone's 3.5mm jack and the eight white LED bulbs on board illuminates your face. This extension is compatible with any Android smartphone with a 3.5mm headphone jack and can take up to 100 Selfies on a single charge. The Vibe Xtension flash will be available for sale from April 2015 for $29 (RM103). The Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro too will launch in April for $499 (RM1772) without contract.     Lenovo Vibe X2 coming to Malaysia this week for RM1199

    Lenovo Malaysia has just revealed the release date and pricing of the upcoming Lenovo Vibe X2 smartphone. The company will launch the dual SIM variant of the device in Malaysia next week for a price tag of RM1199. The Vibe X2 smartphone is Lenovo's answer to Huawei's Honor 6 and Xiaomi's Mi4. It comes with a Mediatek MT6592 Octa Core processor clocked at 2.0GHz with 2GB RAM. The 32GB internal storage that comes with the device is non-expandable. You get a 5 inch screen up front with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it is pretty compact too, measuring 140.2 x 68.6 x 7.3 mm. Unlike the smartphones these days which feature a Unibody design, Lenovo has taken a different route with its Vibe X2. The device has a unique three tone layered metal design which sets it apart from other phones in the market. But even with the extra layers, the device remains thin at 7.27mm. At the back, you have a 13MP camera, while up front you get a 5MP shooter. It runs on Android 4.4 Kikat with Vibe UI 2.0 on top and comes with a 2300mah battery.
