The Apple iPhone 15 has finally arrived. According to Apple Malaysia’s website, the phone will be available nationwide at the end of this month. Prices for the device start from RM4399 onwards. But, you might be able to get it at a lower price with a telco contract.

Previously, we mentioned Hotlink’s new prepaid plans with upgraded unlimited internet passes and calls. Today, Maxis launched a free 5G internet pass for all users, including Hotlink. This offer runs until 15 September 2023. That said, what should you know about this internet pass?

Today, Minister of Communications and Digital Fahmi Fadzil announced some good news. In regards to Malaysia's 5G progress, a Dual Network Implementation Task Force and the Ministry of Communications and Digital have successfully reached an agreement. On top of that, Maxis will also finalise the holding shares process in Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB).

Until recently, Maxis was the only major telco in Malaysia to opt out of the 5G Access Digital agreement with DNB (Digital Nasional Berhad). However, this changed last Friday when the company announced on Bursa Malaysia that it is finally seeking its shareholders' approval on this deal.
