So over the weekend, Maybank apparently posted a short announcement on their official website. It seems that the MaybankPay app will be discontinued on 20 July 2020 but before you panic, it's not the Maybank2U's QR Pay, it's the one that was introduced back in 2016.

Upgrading to Android 10 will, of course, get you new features. However, there are also a few things you need to compromise, as not everything new can be flawless without the bugs or other technical issues. Maybank is now asking the users of their Maybank APP to re-register for Secure2u after upgrading to Android 10.

Maybank has announced that their new and optimized Maybank2u site featuring a new user interface for an enhanced transaction experience. The simplified and now mobile responsive (designed for smartphones) site will be rolled out starting from 19 April 2018. The old site will be maintained for a few more months for a smoother transition.

Maybank announced that, starting 4th March 2017, they will be making new security upgrades on its Maybank2u mobile app as part of their effort to continuously protect your online banking transactions from emerging threats.
