Telekom Malaysia has recently announced the Unifi TV Free viewing campaign during MCO 2021 where you can watch selected channels for free, starting from 18 January until 1 February 2021. If you don’t have the unifi TV plugged in at home, you can still enjoy the via channels via the unifi playTV app, which can be downloaded via the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has officially announced the PERMAI initiative which comes with various assistance ranging from tax relief, free internet data, and more. To go into more detail, the government will waive tax of up to RM2500 for any electronics bought until 31 December 2021 to encourage the acquisition of smartphones, laptops, and tablets.

As we get closer to August, many are looking forward to the end of the movement control order (MCO) - that is now in the recovery MCO phase - in a month's time. Some of them are fortunate enough to have access to technology products that can help them to continue learning, but we have to know that there are also students who don't have access to education as they do not have a proper tool to do it. To make the situation better, HP is now working with Teach For Malaysia, a non-profit organization to provide laptops for underprivileged students.
