With the government announcing an extension to the Movement Control Order (MCO), we're going to be stuck at home till 14 April 2020. During this time, it's important that we not fall for fake news that are created to mislead us. The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has been working on keeping track on the fake news so we'll know what to look out for.

On this 6th day of the Movement Control Order (MCO), Malaysian Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has declared four initiatives that have been decided by the government. These initiatives came out after a meeting by the Malaysian cabinet on how to deal with the economic situation that is deteriorating during the MCO.

In the interest of ensuring that the rules of the movement control order (MCO) are being adhered to, the Malaysian military deployed armed forces earlier today. But that's not all, the military is looking into different ways to help with patrolling the streets and controlling the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

Malaysia Military joined the police officers and local authorities to ensure public compliance of the Movement Control Order (MCO) to flatten the infection curve of COVID-19 on 22 March 2020. They will be patrolling and control the entry points at the borders and also at the grocery markets.
