On this 6th day of the Movement Control Order (MCO), Malaysian Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has declared four initiatives that have been decided by the government. These initiatives came out after a meeting by the Malaysian cabinet on how to deal with the economic situation that is deteriorating during the MCO.

Malaysia Military joined the police officers and local authorities to ensure public compliance of the Movement Control Order (MCO) to flatten the infection curve of COVID-19 on 22 March 2020. They will be patrolling and control the entry points at the borders and also at the grocery markets.
