The Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) today revealed further details regarding the 2022 Special Withdrawal which allows members to withdraw up to RM10000. Taking to its official Facebook page, the statutory body revealed that only one single payment will be made to members under the scheme, starting from 20 April 2022.
To be eligible for the Special Withdrawal, members must be under 55 years old, a Malaysian citizen and have at least RM150 remaining in their EPF accounts. The scheme is available for non-Malaysian citizens too, including Permanent Residents.

The Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) today revealed further details regarding the 2022 Special Withdrawal which allows members to withdraw up to RM10000. Taking to its official Facebook page, the statutory body revealed that applications for the special withdrawal can only be made online.
EPF further elaborated that the application can only be made through a 2022 Special Withdrawal portal on its official website which is currently in the works. Speaking of which, please make sure that you are accessing the correct website, as EPF has previously warned Malaysians that scammers are targeting its members with fraudulent phishing sites.
