In response to the recent announcement about Malaysia's Google Data Centre and Cloud Region, Oracle has announced a massive investment of over US$6.5 billion (~RM27.3 billion) to establish a public cloud region in Malaysia. This strategic move aims to support the nation's growing demand for artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud services. The new cloud region will provide access to over 150 infrastructure and SaaS services, helping to boost Malaysia's digital economy and AI-driven innovation.
