Today, Microsoft has officially launched the Malaysia West cloud region, marking a milestone in its commitment to support Malaysia’s digital and AI-driven future. This is the company’s first cloud region in the country and is strategically located in Greater Kuala Lumpur.

Today, Microsoft reaffirmed its commitment to advancing Malaysia’s cloud and AI economy with its upcoming hyper-scale cloud, the Malaysia West cloud region. Scheduled to go live in the second quarter of 2025, this will mark the company's first cloud region in the country, strategically situated in Greater Kuala Lumpur.
