    Yesterday, Telegram finally met up with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and the Ministry of Communications and Digital. In conclusion, it was reported that Telegram will be working closely with the Malaysian government as well as the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) to tackle cybercrime.

    The Malaysian government is reportedly set to impose tax on imported low value goods (LVG) starting from 1 January 2023. As of right now, any goods imported using air courier services through selected airports are exempted from sales tax and custom duty should the value not exceed RM500 per consignment.

The company is expected to make major investment to develop data centres within our country this year.
