It has been a few rocky months for Maxim, but it looks like the dust has settled. Maxim E-hailing Malaysia has officially received the final approval letter from the Land Public Transport Agency (APAD), confirming that the platform is now fully compliant with all regulatory requirements to continue nationwide e-hailing operations.

Back in May 2025, there was news about Maxim needing to cease its operations in Malaysia, but that was not really the case. Today, the company has officially confirmed the continuation of its operations in Malaysia following a green light from the Land Public Transport Agency (APAD).
