Maybank announced that, starting 4th March 2017, they will be making new security upgrades on its Maybank2u mobile app as part of their effort to continuously protect your online banking transactions from emerging threats.

Today at the Maybank Championship 2017, the company has showcased some tech-enhanced, digital-first bespoke experiences with a few app developers such as Suncrox Solar, Credit Mavin, VAV App, Evenesis, NEXX, Jom Fishing, Apver, Eat Cake Today, AppPay, Katsana, MyCash, Laundry On The Go, RecomN, VRLab and Brand Geeks Inc

In this coming Wednesday (8 February 2017), there will be a technology showcase held at Saujana Golf & Country Club. Simply called the Maybank Championship 2017 with the theme “Golf Like Never Before”, the event aims to showcase tech-enhanced offerings that will change the way people interact with and participate in world-class golfing events.

While other countries are busy using Android Pay, Apple Pay or Samsung Pay for their daily payment convinience, we as a country have yet to embrace wireless payment technology – until now. Maybank just introduced MaybankPay, the banking company’s own mobile payment service via smartphones and supported devices.
