Among the smartphone China brands in Malaysia, Meizu is probably the only one that has not really made their presence known when compared with the likes of vivo, OPPO, Xiaomi, honor and Huawei. But to be fair, they have not set up any official Meizu store nor a branch office here, however, this is also a problem because that also means most consumers have no idea about this brand, so today, we're here to give you an insight of who Meizu is, with the M3 Note review.

Today, local smart gadget distributor, Satu Gadget has announced that Meizu's latest M series smartphone – the Meizu M3s and M3 note are finally coming into the Malaysian market. Consumers who are looking for a respectable performing device, good camera quality feature, long battery life with a fair price tag can look into these economical smartphones. Below are the official specifications and price tags under Satu Gadget:

Star Trek is one of those sci-fi shows that many in the real world borrow ideas from for devices that we use today. Because of that show, we have made technological leaps in mobile computing. With the recent Star Trek Beyond movie, Meizu would like to cash in the brand as it sets sail to movie theatres there in September.

So apart from Huawei, Meizu is also bworking hard this year. Just releasing three new phones last month, it was reported that Meizu is planning to release another Meizu M3 smartphone variant which will be in full metal cover on 13 June. No name was given for the new device but it's likely to be call m3 Note.

So as confirmed, Meizu has unveiled the M3 Note as a mid-range smartphone at Beijing, China today. The price listed for it is 799 Yuan (around RM494) for the 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM version and 999 Yuan for the 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM version, as speculated in the previous leak. We're just one day away from tomorrow of Meizu showcasing the upcoming mid-range smartphone Meizu M3 Note, and leaks online have suggested the M3 Note will be priced at 1099 Yuan (around RM665) to fight against the likes of Xiaomi, Lenovo and LeTV camp.

As promised by Meizu CEO Huang Zhang yesterday, here are the details of the mid-range smartphoneMeizu M3 Note along with a new teaser revealing the official release date on 6 April 2016 at the Beijing National Convention Center (coincidentally, this is also the same reveal date for the Huawei P9announcement).

With the Meizu Pro 6 tease going on, company CEO Huang Zhang has revealed that Meizu will annouce the Meizu M3 Note to the public first before the Pro 6, and hinted the device will come in a slim body with a large battery capacity. He promises to reveal more details tomorrow.
