Furthermore, the app is community-service oriented and functions through smart partnership between MetMalaysia and the public.

    Taking to its official Twitter page, MetMalaysia further elaborated that the RakanMET app serves as a two-way communication medium between the public and MetMalaysia. With it, the department can obtain quick information on verified and accurate weather conditions throughout the country.
