If there's one device category that hasn't gotten much traction yet, it would have to be smart home products. Not many see value in that since you can do a lot of things manually. But maybe Xiaomi could change some minds with a global launch tonight.

Remember once upon a time where we wanted the lights to simply turn off when we clapped our hands? Or a vacuum cleaner that does the job without us telling it to? Well, the future is now and we don’t even have to tell our vacuums or clap our hands for lights to turn on and off - at least, not with the Mi Smart Home.
