If you own the Microsoft Surface series, this news might please you. Today, Microsoft announced it will provide 6 years of software updates for the laptop series. However, there is a catch, and you might want to read until the end to know about it.

Today, Microsoft Malaysia is proud to announce that the Surface Book 2 will be available in Malaysia across all authorized retailers starting 15 March 2018. Coming in two model variants based on their processor and screen size, the starting price is RM6899 and the Surface Laptop is included as well as one of the new devices which is already available. Today, Microsoft has announced that the Surface Laptop is available for pre-order now for Malaysians at its official online store in Lazada. All local Surface authorized retailers and official Microsoft stores will officially start selling it on 7 February 2018 from a starting price of RM4499. Below is the specification list.

So in just a few hours ago, Microsoft just dropped some news by introducing a new Surface Laptop using a brand new Windows 10 S operating system. As of at this moment, pre-orders for the laptop can be made today but only in the USA for $999 (around RM4300) for the Core i5 model as the starting price.
