Health Minsiter Khairy Jamaluddin today announced a change to the travel requirements for all foreign tourists entering Malaysia. Beginning 1 August 2022, all travellers, whether Malaysians or foreigners will no longer need to complete the traveller’s card feature in the MySejahtera app.

Just a few hours ago, there was an important announcement by the MySejahtera Facebook page and the Ministry of Health Malaysia regarding those who had taken the Sinovac vaccination. Starting from 1 April 2022, the vaccination status will be "Partially Vaccinated".

MySejahtera, the mobile application developed by the Malaysian Government to facilitate contact tracing has assured Malaysians that there would not be any administration of a fourth Covid-19 vaccine dose as of right now. Furthermore, users are also advised to disregard any vaccine appointment links if they have already been fully vaccinated.
Taking to its official Facebook page, MySejahtera addressed the confusion surrounding Covid-19 vaccine appointment links received by the app users recently. Some received the link even though they have already gotten the Covid-19 vaccine as well as its booster dose.

After the announcement saying that RM50 will be distributed in the form of eWallet credit to the public was made, we believe that many of you must have rushed to download the MySejahtera app (including us too). With that being said, the app is now flooded with 700,000 registrations in a minute and it might be a large request for the app to handle.

Due to the uprising of COVID-19 reports over Malaysia, the Ministry of Health Malaysia have decided to launch a new website in order to help Malaysians to check their health conditions online. In a collaboration with doctoroncall.com.my, visitors will be able to access advice with a number of questions before coming to a decision by the system if you're infected or not.
