Motorola's Moto G may well stir the midrange pot a good bit with it's cut-throat price and Google enhanced features but rumours are swirling that the Moto X may soon go international just like it's little brother. This comes after the Moto Maker is finally no longer exclusive to AT&T and therefore no longer made just for the US market. Comments made by Motorola's various senior executives have indicated that we could soon see the Moto X appear in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Asia and Malaysia could soon follow suit. So far, the Moto X is currently being offered at a very tempting $299 (RM956) off contract. Specific Malaysia release dates are still not available though, but we're guessing it could arrive a bit later in 2014, possibly in Q3 to Q4 of 2014. Hopefully the price tag remains the same (or doesn't go higher).

Motorola has finally launched their Moto G smartphone. The little brother of the previously released for-US-markets-only Motorola Moto X, this smartphone is the international version of the Moto X and while it doesn't offer as many customization options, it makes up for it by offering some impressive midrange specs and an entry-level price. Going for an awesome price of $179 (RM571) without any SIM card, the Moto G could easily be Motorola's smartphone solution for the masses. Tech specs for the Motorola Moto G include:

• 1.2GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor
• 8GB / 16GB storage + 2 years 50GB Google Drive
• 4.5-inch display (1280 x 720, 329ppi)
• 5MP rear camera (LED flash, 4x digital zoom, slow motion, Auto HDR, Panorama, Tap to focus) + 1.3MP camera
• 129.9 x 65.9 x 6.0-11.6mm | 143g
• Supports 3G + GPS + Bluetooth 4.0 + WiFi
• 2070 mAh battery (24 hour usage)
• Android 4.3 (upgradeable to Android 4.4)

It isn't even the end of the year yet and already many of us are predicting features for the next smartphones and devices that haven't even been announced yet. This includes the Samsung Galaxy S5 which already has many rumours saying that it could have a new 64-bit Exynos processor and 4GB of RAM along with a metal chassis. Coming from the usual source of parts suppliers, Google has been rumoured to start mass production of their smartwatch device and soon. According to the Wall Street Journal this is because Google have solved the 2 main obstacles involved with smartwatches which is how useful the smartwatch can be and battery life. Supposedly, the Google smartwatch will include a battery saving feature that extends the battery life. There are no details if this better battery life will be past the current 1 week standard smartwatch battery life or past 25 hours which is the battery life of currently the most feature-filled smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Gear. The Google smartwatch will also use Google Now as the main interface, which could mean many more voice commands and the ability to always be listening, much like the Motorola Moto X.

So far, reports indicate that it would still have to rely on your smartphone as a stand-alone smartwatch would cost too much and be to big to be worn on the wrist (which doesn't seem to be the case for some other smartwatch makers). We're still hoping that Google will offer a stand-alone smartwatch but we should find out soon enough. The Wall Street Journal reports that the Google Watch could come within a matter of months which could mean either the end of 2013 in December or early 2014. No specifics on pricing or Malaysia release dates but we'll keep you posted.

With the Motorola Moto X set to be announced tomorrow it seems apt to leak whatever we know about the upcoming smartphone. Apparently the phone will use Magic Glass which is a layer of Gorilla Glass molded to a special polymer, creating a continuous surface from the front to the edges of the device. The resulting smartphone will have a zero gap construction for a seamless look and feel, but hopefully allow for microSD expansion somehow. Other tech specs for the Motorola Moto X include:

While Motorola have confirmed that the X Phone or Moto X is coming soon, they have been rather quiet about other tech specs. However, some tech specs for the upcoming Moto X have surfaced from EvLeaks that it will include:
