    Apart from being a price-busting smartphone with excellent features and a mix of good to above average tech specs, the Motorola Moto G now has another awesome achieve to add to it's repertoire. Featuring a battery life of 7 hours and 12 minutes for continuous usage, the energy sipping performance of the Moto G even beats the previous record holder of the Motorola RAZR MAXX despite just having a non-removable 2070 mAh battery. Bear in mind that this is for continuous usage, and that normal usage should result in about 2 days or so on a single charge, which is just awesome performance for any modern smartphone.     While not having much of hardware pedigree behind it Amazon has done some amazing things with mobile devices, introducing their Kindle Fire tablets and ebook readers. Now, rumour has it that they're working on a 4.7" smartphone (much along the same lines and design as the Samsung Galaxy S III). Like so many other rumours of this kind, this one was sparked from component makers, in this case those dealing with smartphone specific components. So far other specifications are few and far in between and the only concrete news that we have is that the Amazon smartphone will probably feature the aforementioned 4.7" screen.

    Adding new Motorola X Phone rumours to the fire is a render of a new Motorola Android smartphone. According to the specs that came along with it, this may just be how the long-awaited Motorola X Phone from Google may look like. If this really is the case, the phone may surface or be announced at the Google I/O on May 15. The specs for the phone include:

    • 4.7" (1280 x 768 pixel resolution)
    • 4000 mAh battery
    • Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
    • IP57 (water resistant 1meter of water for 30 minutes)
