With the craze of releasing new e-wallets nowadays, the latest entry was announced by MYDIN. Today, MYDINPay officially launched and is now available for download by customers. The launch of ‘MYDINPay’ e-wallet app was officiated by the Minister of Digital, YB Gobind Singh Deo, at MYDIN Subang Jaya.

Today, Mydin has announced an exclusive collaboration with Boost, specifically focused on the newly launched Boost Bank app. With this new partnership, it will enable Mydin customers a couple of savings and special privileges if they sign up for Boost Bank and use it to shop at Mydin.

Mydin and ChargeSini recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding where ChargeSini will build EV charging stations at Mydin stores across Malaysia. Do bear in mind that this is still just a signing of an MoU and that there are still no specific details like which branches will get ChargeSini EV chargers first or when.

In a collaboration between Shopee and Mydin, you can now pay for your groceries via ShopeePay starting from today onwards. But that’s not all, you could also get up to RM4 cashback when you make a purchase until 28 February 2021, if you were to spend more than RM10 on your first purchase.

Due to the fact that Shopee is considered e-commerce which falls under the retail category, Shopee will continue business as normal during the Restricted Movement Order which is happening from 18 March until 31 March 2020. With that said, you could easily get more than 10000 types of products from more than 7 partner retailers such as Mydin, Tesco, Nestle, Aeon Big, Vinda and more.

With the recent announcement of the movement restriction by the Malaysia Government, it was announced that food stores and food supply will still be running as usual. However, many are still more concern than ever with this announcement, as they don't feel comfortable going out to buy any food grocery.
