As you would expect, news and leaks are bound to surface with Samsung Galaxy Unpacked just around the corner. We've already seen plenty of rumours about the upcoming Galaxy S26 series, but the company also plans to introduce an updated OneUI at the event. Specifically, OneUI 8.5.

As you should know by now, X and xAI's Grok got into a big controversy over the past few days. Investigations were launched a few days ago, and new research reveals that Elon Musk’s Grok AI chatbot generated an estimated 3 million sexually explicit images over 11 days, including around 23000 that appear to depict children, sparking global alarm over the misuse of generative AI technology.

Elon Musk just loves drama, isn’t he? Recently, he suggested that X get rid of the block function from the app. Now, the X CEO might change the way we see news. If you are a long-time X user, you would know that the app has always been an excellent platform for catching up with the latest updates or news.

CNN Plus, a streaming service that was launched on 29 March 2022 will shut down operation in less than a month after its release due to poor reception. In fact, the service had less than 10,000 subscribers during its initial two weeks period.

Today, the Malaysia Government is imposing a new rule to tackle fake news. Starting today onwards under the Emergency Ordinance (No. 2) 2021, any individual or party who publish or broadcast fake news about any related COVID-19 and State of Emergency matters will be fined up to RM100,000.

So it finally happened, Australia Facebook users are now blocked from sharing or reading news on Facebook (lol). If you haven't been hearing news about this, the controversy began a few months ago where the Australia government was proposing a law to make tech companies (Facebook and Google) pay for news content.

It seems that a report by techradar seems to hint that Windows 10, will most likely be receiving an update very soon which will add a new feature to the taskbar called “News and Interests” very soon. While not much is known in regards to the exact release date, our source did mention that it will most likely be available somewhere around October 2021 with the Windows 10 Build 21286 update.

In an effort to reduce the spread of misinformation, Twitter has officially implemented a feature where it will prompt users if they were to press "Like" a disputed tweet. Prior to this, Twitter implemented a similar prompt to the “Quote Tweets” functionality which has decreased the spread of misinformation by up to 29%.
