Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (Prasarana) today confirmed that it has encountered a cybersecurity incident in which there was unauthorised access to some of the company’s systems. However, the company assured that the incident didn’t disrupt its daily operations.

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territory) Dr Zaliha Mustafa has revealed that the Cyber Security Bill 2024 will only be gazetted in Q3 of 2024. She added that the effective date of gazetting can only be set after the process of drafting related regulations is completed and the draft is approved by the Attorney General's Chamber (AGC).

The Ministry of Communications and Multimedia (K-KOMM) has assured Malaysians regarding the alleged civil servant e-payslip data theft, saying that the government has found a lead on the incident. Moreover, its Minister, Tan Sri Annuar Musa revealed that a statement will be made by the National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA) soon.
