In efforts to make high speed internet accessible to everyone - even in rural areas, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) has proposed to provide high-speed broadband in the rural areas of Perak. They will be the first state to introduce the National Fiberisation and Connectivity Plan (NFCP).
