During Netflix's fourth-quarter 2024 financial report, it was revealed by co-CEO Greg Peters that the company is planning to do a couch co-op and party games on our TVs. Since 2023, Netflix has offered a "subset" of subscribers to try playing games that are streamed over the cloud and will continue to invest in it.

Netflix has been pushing for a different take with its Netflix Games service, offering access to big titles like GTA. Unfortunately, few users play the 86 games on the platform. And Netflix clearly wants to make money from it, so there are plans for changes.

Yup, you read that right. Netflix Games is expanding its library further with three huge GTA titles, namely GTA III, GTA: San Andreas and GTA: Vice City. Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is listed on the Apple App Store as 'coming soon'. 

You probably have played Hades on your console or PC. Well, how about playing it on your mobile device? In a surprising announcement, Supergiant Games the developer of Hades, officially announced that the game is indeed coming to iOS devices such as the iPhone and iPad via Netflix Games. 

In case you didn't know - yes, Netflix Games is a thing for mobile users who are subscribed to Netflix. That said, the company may be working on something to allow you to play Netflix Games on your TV with your iPhone as a controller, according to Bloomberg.

In case you didn’t know, Netflix Games is a venture that the popular video streaming company expanded into since November 2021 which is a service that provides mobile games to Netflix subscribers for free. Well, the latest original title that Netflix Games recently released is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge which is a game worth checking out. 

Streaming giant Netflix is serious about branching out into the gaming industry and has announced that it will not just rely on third-party game teams for its gaming catalogue. Instead, the company is forming an in-house game studio based in Helsinki, Finland and aims to create “world-class” original titles.

Over the weekend, Ubisoft held its annual Ubisoft Forward digital event and announced a bunch of new games and content coming soon. Besides the upcoming Assassin's Creed Mirage, the company also announced a bunch of titles for the mobile gaming platform, including Netflix Games.

Popular streaming service Netflix expanded into mobile gaming in November last year, but it looks like the service has gotten just meagre traction. Available only to subscribers but have to be downloaded as separate apps, a recent analysis found that less than 1 percent of Netflix’ total subscribers are using the service.

A few months back, Netflix announced that it's expanding into mobile games. The company beta-tested it in selected countries over the last few months, before launching for Android users last week. Now, Netflix is ready to launch it on more platforms.
