Another week has gone by but there's nothing really much to talk about in the local tech scene in Malaysia. I mean sure, Merdeka sales here and there, and Shopee is coming up with another promo sale period leading up to 9.9. (which you stand a chance to win a Honda City car). Today is also the last day of the Samsung Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+ pre-order sales, although it's probably sold out already due to popular demand, you can still purchase them in authorized stores (see the list here).
So...yeah. Let's get on with it on the NewsBytes already.

Are you a big fan of the Stranger Things series? You can experience Netflix’s first augmented-reality trailer of Stranger Things season 3 on Youtube, provided you have an Apple iPhone, iPod or iPad running on iOS 8 and above. The augmented-reality trailer has a background replacement feature, which lets the user take a Stranger Things themed selfie. The Stranger Things themed selfie can then be shared onto your favourite social media platform such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and more.

So here's a piece of interesting news, Netflix has just announced a new collaboration with Next Games, and they are working on a Stranger Things mobile game that's scheduled for 2020 release on both iOS and Android platforms for free.

Netflix has announced that starting today, they have enabled the ability to share the movie titles they are watching directly onto Instagram Story on Android devices. By giving the ability to share directly to Instagram Story, the user could add additional elements onto the story such as a poll, a GIF, or even tag their friends they are watching with.

Previously the offline viewing mode is only available to the internal storage, so if your phone has limited internal space, you are out of luck to save your shows to watch on the road.
