Just today on Nokia Malaysia's Facebook page, they posted and confirm the next big device coming to Malaysia and it's the Nokia 9. Although we all expected that to happen, what we didn't expect was the rumour of the device using FIVE rear cameras. Are they insane? Maybe, but it's exciting.

Based on a leaked image courtesy of slashleaks.com, the Nokia 9 has a rather unorthodox camera setup in the rear with 6 cut outs which is presumed to be 5 sensors of some sort and 1 LED flash. Based on the source, the Nokia 9 is expected to come shipped with 3 image sensors while there is no information on the other 2 sensors.

Nokia 9, now that's a name that has been ringing online since last year. Initially, it was supposed to come last year as rumoured but that didn't happen. However, we do have a new tech-specs leak and the phone model rendered image. Also, guess what, it's coming with a triple camera setup. Let's check it out below and do take it with a grain of salt.

On 25 February 2018, HMD Global will be having another MWC 2018 conference in Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Arts and have started sending invitations (no, we didn't get one lol). With this, Nokia is probably launching something new for the market, could we see a new Nokia 9? Or maybe a bunch of mid-range 2018 phone variants just like the Nokia 6 (2018)?

Think HMD Global and Nokia are done for the year? Apparently not quite, even though we already have the affordable flagship Nokia 8 in the Malaysia market, we think the Nokia 9 is still coming and it's now getting some attention once again with a leaked image. So what can we expect?

The leaked image suggests that the Nokia 9 will come in a stunning Polished Blue look and has a curved display with super thin side bezels and relatively thicker top and bottom bezel. At the back, the Nokia 9 looks to have its trademark Dual-Camera setup with highly probable ZEISS lens leading the way and a fingerprint sensor right beneath that to boot.

Okay, so it seems that the Nokia 9 is not the only smartphone we should get excited. Nokia 8 is starting to show up consistently in the news as well and we got a sweet render of it, showing the new Zeiss brand camera behind.

An FCC document has stated that the Nokia 9 with the 4GB RAM codenamed TA-1004 has been apparently replaced with a new TA-1012, possibly implying that there will be a higher-spec Nokia 9 with more RAM.

Nokia 9 just can’t to catch a break nowadays, since there are tons of leaked information about the tech-specs. Just over the weekend, it was AnTuTu’s turn to show us what it got, under the codename Nokia TA-1004.

HMD Global has confirmed that all Nokia smartphones will be receiving the coveted Android O upgrade as soon as Google makes it available to OEMs.
