With the Nokia EOS or Lumia 1020 reveal just around the corner, some rather interesting images about Nokia's rumoured Windows based tablet have also popped up. The first images to crop up were for a 10-inch Windows RT based tablet which has now been revealed to have been cancelled. This was quite evident when a closer look at the Windows RT tablet revealed specs like a Tegra 3 1.3GHz quad-core chip. With so many new chips coming out (Tegra 4, Snapdragon 800) it seems very unlikely that a new product or tablet from Nokia would be running an older processor. Instead, rumours point towards a full Windows 8 (Windows 8.1) tablet from Nokia that may appear soon. The tablet image shown here was supposedly the cancelled development prototype.

With the upcoming reveal of the Nokia EOS or Lumia 1020 being just tomorrow, a number of leaked images, shots and a video of the cameraphone have surfaced. This includes sample pics which were taken using the cameraphone (identified through the pictures EXIF data), new images of the Lumia 1020 in yellow and a whole bunch of others. This also includes a new web site focusing on mobile photography. The site can be accessed here and offers photography news tips and tricks using the Nokia Lumia 920, Nokia Lumia 925 and Nokia Lumia 928. The Nokia Lumia 1020 will probably be added as well after it's reveal on Thursday.

While it still hasn't been released yet another rumour has appeared about the Nokia EOS, Nokia's upcoming cameraphone. Rather than be called the Nokia EOS (which does give it sort of Canon digital camera like sound to it) the cameraphone may soon be called the Nokia Lumia 1020. This rumour comes courtesy of evleaks who has more often than not revealed fairly accurate leaks. They also revealed a press shot quality render of the upcoming Nokia Lumia 1020, although it didn't show the most important part, the rear of the smartphone. So far only the 41MP PureView sensor has been confirmed for their Nokia Lumia 1020 but all should be made clear on 11 July 2013 when Nokia will likely reveal the cameraphone, or at least have 41 million reasons why you should want it. After all the various Nokia EOS leaks, it seems that Nokia are finally confirming the reveal date and a 41MP sensor with a teaser about 41 Million Reasons to check them out on 11 July 2013. The 41MP sensor was last seen in the Nokia 808 PureView and 41 Million reasons is just too close for it to be a coincidence. While other tech specs are mostly unconfirmed, stand out features are the 41MP PureView Sensor, Optical Image Stabilization and the fact that it is running Microsoft's Windows Phone 8 operating system. It seems that the Nokia EOS will be coming in a polycarbonate casing with colours that include white, black, yellow and red. Check out the white casing that leaked recently below:

A number of metallic casings for a Nokia phone have surface recently and while they initially looked like the upcoming Nokia EOS, a closer look reveals that it may not be. While there is a raised camera hump like the Nokia EOS, it looks too small to fit earlier leaks of the Nokia EOS's massive 41MP PureView sensor. Lining up the chassis with a Nokia Lumia on the other hand reveals that metallic chassis could be for the rumoured Nokia Phablet as the chassis is much larger compared to the standard Nokia Lumia size.

While there have been rumours and leaks nothing beats an actual event, which is what Nokia has done by sending out invites to an event on 11 July 2013 in New York. In the teaser invite, it mentions "Zoom. Reinvented". This could be a direct dig at the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom which was recently officially announced and that Nokia are finally going to release their rumoured EOS cameraphone. The Nokia EOS has already been leaked many times and will likely be the Nokia 808 PureView successor, complete with larger than average camera hump on the back.

A whole bunch of leaked images of the Nokia EOS have appeared online. While there is no way to know for sure if they are the real thing, they certainly look real enough, not just because they don't look like it's predecessor PureView cameraphone, but also because there are just so many angles available. It seems unlikely that someone would post up this many photoshop renders.

With Nokia's Catwalk or Nokia Lumia 925 already making it's official appearance, the next Nokia device to hit the rumour mills is the Nokia EOS. Based on the Nokia 808 PureView, the Nokia EOS is the Windows Phone-based version and so far looks to be incorporating the same 41MP camera sensor from the 808 PureView. Other tech specs may also include the same 4.5-inch AMOLED display as the aforementioned Nokia Lumia 925. In addition to this the EOS may also include the new Nokia Pro Camera app which allows for manual focusing.
