HMD Global recently announced that prices for most of their Nokia devices currently available in the Malaysian market will not be impacted by the SST (Sales and Services Tax). However, three of the recently launched models may see a slight increase (the Nokia 6.1 = RM1100 + RM69, Nokia 2.1 = RM415 + RM20 and Nokia 8110 = RM285 + RM14).

HMD global, the home of Nokia phones has jointly announced the signing of an exclusive partnership with ZEISS, an internationally leading expert in optics and optoelectronics, to set a new imaging standard within the smartphone industry.

The previous news are true – we will see Nokia branded devices running Android really soon. Nokia Technologies revealed today that it has given exclusive global license to HMD Global, a startup company based out of its own home country of Finland. At the same time, Microsoft has confirmed the sale of their feature phone business that carries the license to the name Nokia, to Foxconn’s subsidiary FIH Mobile for USD 350 million.
