Breaking news, Malaysian O-fans! It seems that OPPO Malaysia has heard our prayers and the company is going to bring back the R-Series! According to the teaser sent by them, the cover image is featuring a shade of purple with the tagline "R You Ready?". What phone could it be? We no doubt think it's the latest R15 series that was released in China a few weeks back.

We know we just posted about the official OPPO R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition event for China yesterday, but for some reason, they decided to go official on releasing the full specifications as well as the price tags. Most of the speculations turn out to be true, so here's a rundown of the two flagships below:

Finally, OPPO has unveiled the release date for the OPPO R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition. Posted on its official Weibo account, the flagship will make its debut on 31 March 2018 in China, together with Zhang Yishan serving as the brand ambassador.

Before you start bashing on MediaTek, we know that they aren't perfect but at least they are improving. As many tech-fans know, MediaTek presented its all-new Helio P60 chipset at the MWC 2018. Keep in mind that it's not a flagship tier unit but rather a mid-range processor, a powerful one, and it was also revealed that Xiaomi, OPPO and Meizu are on board to use it for their smartphones.

So not only the OPPO R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition are coming, but there's going to be a new OPPO F7 as well and it will be released in India first on 26 March 2018. We won't know why they skipped F6 for that, but here's what we know about the tech-specs.

Marketing for the upcoming OPPO R15 and R15 Dream Mirror has started aggressively by the Chinese company and this hints that the two flagships will be revealed quite soon. As you can see from the images, these are the official press renders and OPPO officially released them on their Weibo thread.

While it was unfortunate that the OPPO R11s series never saw the light in Malaysia, OPPO is now moving forward with a new model and for some reason, they are skipping the number 12, 13 and 14, coming out with an upcoming R15 and R15 Dream Mirror edition. In fact, these two models are matching the ones listed certified by TENAA, a 3C authority in China (OPPO PAAT00 and PAAM00) just recently.
